I can’t say specifically, but when you read the testimonials from previous participants (in the enclosed brochure) it may give you an idea of the wide-ranging effects our courses have on different people. Maybe the new millennium is signifying that it is time to begin to uncover the new YOU!

Perhaps you’ve read the book or heard about us through the media. Maybe you did the course and want to pass this on to someone who might enjoy and gain from it. It might be that you enquired a while ago and now is just the right time for you to take the course. Or it’s possible you have already enjoyed one of our courses and just fancy a fun day and a refresher. There’s a special offer for you. What is flirting? By my definition, it isn’t just about pulling or getting laid because great flirts do it with everyone [flirt that is!] Flirting is a way of interacting with people that makes it fun and easy to connect with them and makes them want to be with YOU. You may be looking for love, want to make more friends or improve the way you interact with people in general. You can flirt to find a mate or flirt to get a seat in a restaurant or just flirt to make someone feel good. By participating in this workshop, you will find many new doors opening to you, in ways you might not expect YET!

Over 65% of us find it difficult communicating easily with new people in social and business situations. Some women feel they should be able to flirt, but lack the confidence. Some men are afraid to flirt for fear of rejection or being taken the wrong way. Some people just don’t know how to do it. Whatever your challenge, or even your interest, there is something for you in one of our courses.

The keynotes of Flirting Academy playshops are fun, learning, loosening up and playing with what we learn. There will be movement awareness, group discussions, and facilitative games and explorations. You will get feedback, try out new behaviours, discover more about yourself, learn new skills and begin to develop new attitudes, abilities and ways of connecting with others. You will laugh a lot during the playshop; it’s good for you and it helps you to learn.

I do not claim to work miracles. Like all new or re-learned skills we need to polish and develop them over time with practice. This course is about reactivating your natural skills and learning how to uncover and develop what is already there. It’s also about finding out what stops you and learning to focus on life in a different more useful way.

I do claim to give people ways of changing how they sense themselves and the world. You will begin to develop the feel-good-about-yourself factor as you work on yourself. Everyone will regenerate their own style of flirting/human interaction skills for their own purposes. What I teach is not a bunch of clever flirting techniques, [you can learn those from a book. I facilitate your ability to access your sense of fun, change behaviours and take on attitudes that are the building blocks of human interaction. This means that you can apply what you learn in the playshop or a coaching session to any area of your life.

Peta Heskell is a licensed trainer of NLP, former Liberty Radio relationship expert, writer, trainer, and dating and relationship coach. She brings to the playshop her many years of experience as a trainer/facilitator and a flirt. Combined with her networking skills and infectious sense of fun and joie de vivre Peta will work with you to ensure you open the doors to a newer flirtier, happier YOU! How does it work?

When you arrive on day one, you will find yourself in an exclusive private club in the heart of the city in a mixed group of no more than 30 people (50 on a one-day event) evenly balanced between the sexes and ranging in age from 20 to 60!!!

On day one we will begin work on the inside. You will discover more about how to realise your personal myth and how it is embodied in you when you are at your best .

You will begin to break down the barriers that have stopped you flirting in the past. You will have your first merengue or movement lesson..You will start to become a secret agent of non verbal signals and you will be set challenges to carry out in your lunch hours and on Saturday evening…

On day two we will discuss your evening assignments, dance, laugh, do more work on human interaction, language, signals, energy and whatever else seems appropriate for the group and YOU...and as you begin a new journey of learning and discovery... you will be surprised at the changes you have already begun to experience…..

The playshop starts at 10.00 am each day and finishes around 5.30 and you will discover that it continues in a selected local bar and long afterwards in the social groups that have developed from all Flirting Academy events….

How will I learn?

We will be facilitating the learning via stories and anecdotes, one-to-one exercises, group discussions and practice, guided visualisations, , physical activities and real world practice!! You will have fun and meet people who like you, value themselves enough to continue learning and improving your way of being in the world.

This fast-paced fun-packed weekend is designed to open doors to new pathways in your ability to make changes.
